It's ONLY been 40 years since "Mendocino" debuted? It seems so long ago , I was five years old , playing the HELL outta that thing with my friends , next door , singing what we thought were the lyrics! I just went back to that very spot , last year , for the first time in 35 years, where I first heard that record. Yes , it was a spiritual thing. John.
