Très belle toile Edwig, bel hommage...
As you know Edwig, this painting reallly touched me. As I see shadows of figures in the tower I am reminded of 9/11 and feelings felt by those worldwide of this horrible crisis. Your series is truly commendable and is a reminder that there is not always a good side to humanity. You capture in your paintings, with the subtleties of the lone soldier, or the shadows of human figures, a powerful story that I hope you will be able to share with many. Very compellingl work my friend.
Dear Edwig, in a way this is the strongest painting from the War Paitings Series.
The methaphor of the falling water tower, the unclear shapes of people inside, the green and the blue windows, the hope and the innocence crashing in the dust ...one feels the point of no return..
I hope to see more, and so a wider audience !

looks suitably bleak , I like this warpainting series of paintings..
lots of emotion in this with colour and gesture......must of been difficult to paint.....strong picture xx
