Good for you! Good luck with Diva Productions!
Boston Diva eh? Hmmn... Yeah I'm not a fan of the word "diva" too much... it's just a little too arrogant for you. You don't come across that way at all. Overall this design is nice though. Black, white, and red are very stylistic colors which are used often by the punk rock scene. I like that style and I think it suits you well. The bright red figure of the woman reminds me of those photos you see all the time that are black and white, but just the rose is red, or one prominent object remains in color. The city line looks great across the top. The blocky boston diva font goes well with the city, but I'm not sure it fits with the figure so well. It would be hard to find a font to suit both... but not impossible. The figure is looking down toward the ground in a rather depressing manner I feel. Perhaps a different pose would be better. Also, the stong red and height of the figure(as it rises above the boston diva word) continually draw you to it. I realize that this is most likely the point, to draw viewers to the figure and thereby illustrate the fashion ideal to the beholder, however I still think that it is a bit overpowering in contrast to the rest of the design. I like how the figure becomes the I for diva and the fact that there is another I in live below it to hint at it again. One last thing though, having a serif-style font(one with the tips on the letters such as the one used in the word live) hanging out in open air is a party-foul in graphic design LOL. It does help to close the figure in to the word diva, but serif fonts are usually only for body text in novels or newspapers. The serifs help the eye flow from word to word in long paragraphs... but are not needed in open air. LOL wow um seems like I accidentally wrote a book, oh well... graphic design is my thing, just like acting is yours, what can I say? LOL so there's a few tips just in case you decide to re-vamp this in the future... Sincerely, Joel (P.S. I have a B.A. in Graphic Design :P)
